Dear Sir / Madam,

Further to last year¹s success, the International Forum of Cinema and Literature has decided to reinforce its economical dimension.

The First International Literary Adaptation Market will take place in Monte Carlo from October 3rd to October 6th 2002. The Market will benefit from the experience and the know-how of the Cannes Market and its director Jerome Paillard.

The International Literary Adaptation Market, unique in the world, offers you the opportunity to meet with authors, publishers and agents from around the world. You will also have full access to the networking events of the Forum as well as debates on literary adaptation, comics and audiovisual rights.

The first Forum gathered most of the French publishing companies and also welcomed such celebrities as Mary Higgins Clark, Sydney Pollack, Alain Corneau and Claude Miller.
This year, the International Literary Adaptation Market will bring together international publishers, literary agents, authors (novels, plays and comics) and audiovisual professionals (cinema and television), in particular from the United States, Italy, Japan, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany.

Producers attending the Market will receive in advance, a detailed catalogue with the proposed literary works. With this catalogue you will be able to select the works that interest you and at your request, we will organize individual meetings between you and publishers, literary agents and authors at the Market.

The International Literary Adaptation Market takes place just before Mipcom, for four days at the prestigious «Sporting d¹Hiver» of Monte Carlo and will be a unique event, efficient and dynamic, meeting your constant demand for new film subjects.

Join us in Monte Carlo from October 3rd to 6th!
