1) THE SHORTS SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL: June 3, 2006 / June 11, 2006
Japan’s best festival for short films, is now accepting submissions for its 2006 competition. 
Filmmaker friendly, no entry fee, each year several filmmakers are invited roundtrip to Tokyo. 
Academy Awards ® accredited festival. International deadline is November 1st,
National and Asian deadline is December 20th, 2005.

2) THE PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL:  April 20-27, 2006
The Palm Beach International Film Festival is a 501(3)(c) not for profit organization
supporting film programs in local schools and dedicated to making a difference in the
lives of future filmmakers by helping them fulfill their dreams to one-day work in the
world of film. Proceeds generated each year are donated to schools, in the form of
grants and scholarships, to provide new technologies.

3) RIFF Awards 2006 & Rome Film Market: 24-31 March 2006

The Oporto International Film Festival, now going to its 26th edition, specializes in fantasy
and science-fiction films in its Official Competitive section.
The Festival runs now in 4 theatres (2,600 seats altogether ) and screens nearly
200 NEW feature films each  year.

Independent Film Forum (IF2) is a free online community where you can share, watch,
and critique independent films sponsoring a free online film festival from November 14,
2005 through January 31, 2006.  The winner will be determined by the registered users of the site,
as well as ten professionals from the entertainment industry.
