We are pleased to announce that "Be With Me", a sensitive and poignant
film from Singaporean director, Eric Khoo, has been selected to open the
37th Directors' Fortnight at Cannes 2005.
The film as well as other compelling projects will be featured at the
Singapore Film Office (Stand F9), Riviera during Marche du Film. New Asian
titles include "1942", "The Maid" (horror), "Cages", and "Be With Me"
(drama). Upcoming projects include a Chinese triad-mafia noir thriller ("
One Last Dance"), dramas ("0430" by Royston Tan), animation features ("
Zodiac, the race begins...", "Sing to the Dawn") and a romantic comedy ("
Leap of Love").
Making its appearance at the Singapore Film Office will be the following
companies : Aquafire Productions, Boku Films, Cubix International, Festive
Films, MediaCorp Raintree Pictures, Oak 3 Films, Storm Pictures and Zhao
Wei Films.
