2)    Few spots left – register now for the 2-days workshop on intercultural communication on December 5 (9am – 6pm) + 6 (9am – 5pm), 2019

Working in international teams requires intercultural competence, awareness and solution finding in possible conflict situations. During the two days, students are given the opportunity to develop their intercultural competence, a skills set which becomes ever more useful for all professional activities and which is thus looked for by prospective employers. As the seminar is held in English, you will also improve your English language proficiency. Therefore you should bring a basic knowledge of English so as to be able to participate in discussions and group activities. "Perfect" English, however, is by no means required! The workshop is targeting German and international students who wish to embark upon a study abroad period, who are active in international student organizations, or who would simply like to improve their communication and intercultural skills.

The workshop is held by Alexia Petersen, a Canadian with multicultural background who has lived in Aachen for many years. Ms. Petersen is a highly experienced trainer and consultant in intercultural communication, working with various target groups in both universities and research institutions, and international companies.

Language: English
Location: You will get the information after the registration
Registration: The number of the participants is limited. Please send an email to (Ms.) Dominika Dudzik Dominika.Dudzik@zhv.rwth-aachen.de

Attending this workshop will be recognized as a component of the Certificate International (group 2).

Find all errors in the presented statements, guess facts and earn points. Put together a group of all knowing beings or find new partners before the event starts. Group sizes can range from 3 to 7 participants.

Doors open at 19:30 and the event starts at 20:00. Entrance free of charge.

Location: Humboldt Haus, Pontsraße 41

4)    AISA presents: The Technology of Inner Peace

Like outer space is governed by laws, the human mind also functions on some secret principle. Once we come to know it, we can find a technology to create a feeling of peace, joy and relaxation whenever we want! Whenever there is peace, whenever there is ecstasy, whenever there is creativity, it is from a space beyond mind and something much deeper. In this interesting and interactive session, Dr. Das and Dr. Chakraborty will reveal secrets and pathways to reach that state not by chance but by choice!

When: December 2, 5pm

Where: Humboldt-Haus, Pontstraße 41
