1) Aufruf: Botschafter/innen gesucht für das Go Abroad-Speeddating 2018

Sie haben im vergangenen akademischen Jahr einen Studienaufenthalt im Ausland absolviert? Schwelgen Sie noch in Erinnerungen und berichten gerne über Ihren Auslandsaufenthalt? Dann engagieren Sie sich doch als Botschafter bei unserem Speed-Dating und lassen Sie Ihre Teilnahme als Botschafter als Komponente des Zertifikat-Internationales anrechnen.

Wann: 13. November 2018, 16:00 - 18:00 Uhr

Wo: Super C, 6. Etage

Anmeldung hier bis spätestens 07.11.18. Bitte ergänzen Sie bei Ihrem Namen, in welchem Land Sie Ihren Studienaufenthalt absolviert haben (siehe Beispiel).

Bei einer Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung beachten Sie bitte folgendes:

Bitte seien Sie ca. 5 min vor Veranstaltungsbeginn da, um auf der Teilnehmerliste zu unterschreiben. Ihre Unterschrift wird als Nachweis für die Komponente „Botschafter in Deutschland“ für das Zertifikat Internationales gelten.

Wir werden Ländertische aufbauen. Bitte setzen Sie sich an den Tisch zu dem Land, zu dem Sie berichten möchten.

Die Besucher und Sie haben dann ca. 2 Stunden Zeit, sich auszutauschen. Teilen Sie gerne Ihre Erfahrungen, Tipps und Hinweise für interessierte Outgoings.

Gerne können Sie Anschauungsmaterial Ihres Auslandsaufenthalts mitbringen (Fotos, Souvenirs, Fahne o.ä.).

2) Time to get to know BeBuddy fellows: BeBuddy Get-Together on Nov 8, 2018

Our BeBuddy Get-Together evening gives you the opportunity to meet other students who are also part of this program and make new friends.

3) Talentscouting Aachen: Insider wanted

Talentscouting Aachen is a cooperative project between the city’s two universities, the RWTH and the FH Aachen. It was primarily launched in the Aachen region (Aachen and the districts Düren, Euskirchen and Heinsberg) to promote and encourage educational justice and equal opportunities for children of families with no academic background or experience.

For their new project InACT, the Talentscouting Aachen team members are currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic university students who would take young talents under their wings in order to give them an insight and impression of the campus and their preferred university course. The talents would shadow you for a day and participate in your daily university routine including lectures and other courses.

4) Indo-German Symposium 2018 | Aachen 14th November organized by Association of Indian Students in Aachen (AISA e.V.)

Sustainable Energy - A Stepping Stone for Developing Economies. Sounds interesting to you? Would you like to know more about how we can implement advanced energy solutions across the world? Join the IGS2018 and brainstorm with academicians, Diplomats, and Industrialists through Key-Note speeches, Debates, Lightning Talks, Networking Sessions, and a delicious Dinner on the 14th of November at the SuperC.

5) Deutschstunde @Humboldthaus, 1-3pm, this friday!

To all our German speaking students: Sign up as a German tutor and help your international fellows to learn German in a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

The International Office organizes German mentoring meetings in the Humboldthaus every Friday, 1-3pm. German speaking students act as tutors to international students and provide them with additional support in learning German. You can just sit and talk about different topics, exchange interesting information about your studies or read German newspapers or other interesting texts together.

Date: Every Friday from 1 - 3 pm

Location: Humboldt-Haus (Pontstr. 41) Aachen, 2^nd floor.

Fees: None (international students who want to learn German do not need to register)
