RWTH Aachen University enables particularly gifted international students to directly enter a Bachelor's degree programme. The prerequisite
for direct entry is acceptance into the "Fast-Track-Bachelor-Admission" (FTBA) tutoring programme.
As part of the FTBA support programme, tutors are being sought for the winter semester 2022/23 by the International Office of RWTH Aachen
University to provide subject-related support to small groups of international students from the "FTBA programme" in the first semester.

Students of RWTH Aachen University from the 2nd semester onwards with very good subject knowledge in the following
courses of study

Mechanical engineering

Business Administration and Engineering: Mechanical Engineering

or Computational Engineering Science

Electrical Engineering and Information Technology B.Sc.

Your tasks
As a team of two to three tutors, you will supervise the international students of the FTBA programme in German language within the framework
of a weekly small group tutorial. The students will start their bachelor studies in the winter semester 2022/23 in one of the above-mentioned subjects at RWTH Aachen University. The aim of the tutorial is to provide professional support, help with study planning
in the first semester, support in getting used to the teaching and learning system at RWTH, assistance with the preparation and follow-up of exercises and exams and support in dealing with exam registrations, etc. You will be supported in your work by the
coordinator of the FTBA programme.
You will be employed as a student assistant.
The position is to be filled as of 01.09.2022 and is limited until 31.03.2023.
The position is part-time.
The regular weekly working time is 7 hours.
The grading is based on the guideline for student and research assistants.
The position is valued at 11.80 €.
