BeBuddy- regulary Meetup Besides spending time with your Buddy or Mentee, you have also the opportunity to meet other participants of the BeBuddy-Programm. Starting now, there will be a monthly meeting where you can meet and connect with mentees and buddies to spend a nice evening together. Our volunteer organizer, an experienced Buddy, will be always arranging a table at the bar Papillon. He will also be present at that evening and happy to meet you all. |
If you are interested, just write us a quick mail till the 20th of August and we will add you to the list for the next get-together. - Next meeting: 22nd of August

Stand for Health Equity: Volunteer with MediNetz Aachen Germany is well known for its healthcare system but did you know that there are still people without access to medical treatment? This issue concerns various groups of patients, such as those who can no longer afford private insurance, people without a permanent residence or refugees without residency permits. |
MediNetz Aachen e.V. is dedicated to providing medical care regardless of the patients financial and legal situation - because they believe that health is a human right! They operate donation-based and connect patients in need with doctors who are voluntary willing to help and do the medical examination for free. |
So if you are interested in assessing the needs of clients and referring them to appropriate specialists, coordinating appointments, getting involved in local politics, advocating for those who are overlooked by society, or introducing your own ideas, feel warmly welcome to visit one of their plenary meetings! They are looking forward to getting to know you and answering any questions you might have. |
And very important: You dont have to study medicine to join them :) |
Dancing at Elisenbrunnen Elisenbrunnen is known for being a historic sight in Aachen or for many people its just the place with the special smell. However, its more than that. Almost every week people are coming together to dance from various organizations or clubs. Generally, you can participate for free or for a small fee of 1euro and the best part is, you dont need any prior experience. Youll find dance sessions for: |

- Tango: 11.08., 25.08. (6:00 to 10:00 pm)
- Salsa: 04.08., 18.22.08. & 18.08. (12:30pm to 5:30 pm)

A space to study Long queues in front of the libraries and nothing for free, you can tell it's exam season in Aachen. This also means finding a place where you can study comfortably and occasionally meet up to discuss learning materials together. The AStA has compiled a list of rooms that can be used for studying during the summer semester. Feel free to check it out. |
