Hi. I propose to use the following header for all source files instead of the full license text. It should contain the same information but is much shorter: /* * Copyright (c) 2013, Roboterclub Aachen e.V. * All Rights Reserved. * * The file is part for the xpcc library and is released under the * 3-clause BSD license. See the file `LICENSE` for the full license * governing this code. */ Any comments or other suggestions? Cheers, Fabian

It is way better than what I wrote. Can you change the code example in xpcc-doc? (source/developer/coding-conventions/) We might have to have a discussion about the name though. Is it XPCC or xpcc or Xpcc? I am torn between XPCC and xpcc, because the communication part in the name is not the only focus anymore. It is therefore reasonable to retire the acronym and just call it XPCC or xpcc, which stands for itself. Cheers, Niklas
