Dear List Members, I would like to know how to put just one person on moderated status. I will need to know what directory to create and what commands to write in what files. IOW, I don't know much! But, this one person is going to ruin the whole list if I don't put her on moderated status. If I just boot her off the list she will just come back under any of a thousand different email address (she has AOL so that would be easy). I really do appreciate any help that might be offered. We have smartlist version 3.4 (I think?). Thank you! Cindy

To the best of my knowledge this isn't possible. You'll have to make the whole list moderated, then bar posts from this specific person. Roger

That isn't really a problem with SmartList but requires you to write a procmail recipe and put it in rc.local.s00. The recipe should check for the evil address and forward the submission to the moderator - but only if there isn't something like a Approved header line in the message. In the latter case the Approved header line would be deleted and the message would be posted to the list. Werner
