Smartlist: Sometimes Wrong
When a person posted a message on my mailing list. Sometimes not success. I found the message in the header of email below: ========================================== X-Diagnostic: Already on the subscriber list X-Diagnostic: 80 db2@list.com 32760 db2@list.com ========================================== Actually this message was not sent for subscription. why it went to subscription routine. Anybody knows this? Thanks!

Probably because their message contained some term like "subscribe" in the body, none of which you excerpted. Please note that the PROCMAIL list *SHOULD NOT* be copied on messages pertaining to smartlist -- smartlist has its very own mailing list for good reason. --- Please DO NOT carbon me on list replies. I'll get my copy from the list. Sean B. Straw / Professional Software Engineering Post Box 2395 / San Rafael, CA 94912-2395
