Re: "Approved: <pwd>" anywhere in the body is letting the post through
Nishi -- Perhaps it's possible that your list has been tweaked to allow commands in the email body, something like what's discussed at http://www.hartzler.net/smartlist/SmartList-FAQ.html#Section_3.2 But different in that I believe .examples/rc.local.r00 wants list commands at the very top...? In any case, I guess it's time to change the moderator password. :-) -ph On Sat, Jan 31, 2004 at 10:21:54PM -0600, Nishikant Kapoor wrote:
I have a moderated list that seems to be working just fine. However, I just noticed that some postings that had "approved: <list_pwd>" in the body made it directly to the list, requiring no moderator approval.
The strange part is that "approved: <list_pwd>" was the starting line in the very first posting (how that happened, no idea!) but all the subsequent 'replies' simply quoted it and got through.
I was looking through the list archives but couldn't find any post talking about this problem.
Thanks, Nishi
