How to add a keyword in the subject field?
Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to automatically add a keyword in the subject field. For exemple, I'm subscribed to a mailing list and the subject is always like [java-list]...., when I see a message with this subject, I know that it is comming from the java mailing list. Thank you! (*sigh*) Yes, it's possible, and it's clearly listed in the FAQ, which you should probably read before posting here again: http://www.hartzler.net/smartlist/ It also means that sensible people on your mailing list will need to generate procmail recipies to REMOVE that annoying subject munge, of course. I would urge you to reconsider, since any sensible email client (even Outlook Express, I've been told) allows for automagically filtering based on other unique header fields s (X-Loop, X-Been-There, etc., etc.) without mucking around with someone else's subject. Charlie (who guesses you're also going to want to change the Reply-To header field...)
All -- Just a quick note to mention that the Smartlist FAQ, along with the manual, may be viewed at: http://www.hartzler.net/smartlist/ This edition now conains the reject_garbage and reject_html cookbooks salvaged from the defunct mindwell site, for those of you doing battle with list traffic containing attachments. In the same vein, i'll be happy to provide space for any other smartlist contributions you may have or know about. Regards, Pete.
