installation help

Okay, I've gotten around my problem with smrsh, but here's a new problem. I can't subscribe to any list (no errors generated) and if I manually add to the dist list, I can't send mail to the subscribers list (no error generated). I can use X-command to subscribe addresses, but still can't send mail. I'm not getting anything ominous in the log and no mail is getting returned or bounced with errors? Any ideas? Tom
