Gord -- When working with mailing lists, you should do *nothing* as root, except perhaps adding the entries in /etc/aliases and running newaliases. Create the user, su to that user (su - listserv), and *then* run creatlist, etc. Odds are there are files owned by root that listserv doesn't have permission to update. -ph On Thu, 30 Aug 2001, Gord Jensen wrote:
