Assistance

I just need to know if I'm wasting my time trying to change the subscribe mail received by new subscribers. I did not install smartlist personally, it was included in my hosting package. Anyways, What has had me stumped for some time now is I'm trying to change the e-mail subscribers received when the join the list. I really would just like to clean it up a bit and get rid of some things. Though when searching the files that are in the smartlist directory I see nothing that looks like what is in the mail such as: You have added to the subscriber list of:.
