How about considering problems from alternate perspectives or problems that exist outside of your limited exposure to the software that other people use
I have no idea how to respond to something like this, and so I won't. I have explained how you can easily prioritize your mail, filing SmartList-list messages into their own area (hint: read your manual) without requiring some silly Yahoo-ish subject munge, and instead you'd rather argue that you want the list owner to do it FOR you to keep you from having to lift a finger to solve your non-existant "problem." If you really prefer having that nonsense in the Subject: header field, it is trivial for you to add it YOURSELF, on YOUR COPIES ONLY, using procmail (which anyone on this list, and using SmartList to operate mailing lists, should be comfortable working in). That way you get what you want, and we don't need to hear about it. (I am quit with this topic, since it's clear you're going to argue no matter what, and I don't intend wasting any more of my life on this. But if you do feel the need to reply so others on the list are forced to respond, at least have the decency to stop top-posting, and quote only for context. I realize that will, again, require actually reading your manual to change the default, so I don't expect it to happen, but it was worth a try...) Charlie Summers
