Wow...darned if I could come up with a simple explination. About the only thing I can think to do is clear some drive space and set VERBOSE logging, and then wait until a message over 4.5k shows up. Since you can be pretty sure that only one message is coming in, and two are going out, it has to be something that SmartLIst is doing somewhere.
It does not occur with my test list, but I only have two addresses in the dist file, my local and the free yahoo address.
Do you have your test list set up EXACTLY like the problem production list, rc.local.xxx files included? It seems to me the number of addresses in the dist file would have less to do with it than the setup before the mail is sent (but I've been _really_ wrong before). Charlie
