Carlos -- When first set up, lists have their dist and accept lists hard linked together. This means that by default these two files are actually the same file; pointed at by the two directory entries. man ln for more clues on links. If for some reason the files are delinked, you'll want to move one of them out of the way and relink them using ln. Remember that you will also need to modify the config to set that list to restrict postings. See section 3c of the manual http://www.hartzler.net/smartlist/Manual.html#3c The FAQ is here: http://www.hartzler.net/smartlist/SmartList-FAQ.html Pete. On Tue, 4 Sep 2001, Carlos Santos wrote:
Hi.
This is probably a stupid question: How do i subscribe (manually) some addresses to the dist file and have them immediately replicated to the access file ? It has something to do with linking the files but i can't seem to find a doc that explains this.
Thanks, Carlos.
