I wonder if this is possible with smartlist: sometimes people (like me) have more than one email address and do not remember which one was used to susbcribe to a list. In some lists I've seen a sentence at the end of every message sent by the list like: "You are subscribed as: username@domain.com" ...which is helpful when the users want to unsubscribe and forgot the email address they used. Is there a way to get this feature with smartlist?
No. The only way to do this is to send out a separate, customised message to each list-member. The advantage of normal mailing list software is that it can send out a small number of messages, each to a large number of recipients, thus decreasing mail-server load. I am currently working on a list-server which will allow this for a configurable small fraction of messages, for purposes of bounce testing, but this is nowhere near even alpha stage. Roger
