I'm not entirely clear on the setup, but what you should have is: undigested-list/accept2 is a link to digested-list/dist (i.e. ln -s digested-list/dist undigested-list/accept2) The undigested list won't look outside its own directory. If you have already done this, I apologise for the misunderstanding. Roger
