Man, are _you_ working too hard. Please look at .examples/rc.local.r00 for a painfully simple method of placing X-Commands in the body that's pre-packaged in the SmartList distribution.

Here's the exact same example using the method available in the .examples/rc.local.r00 file: From: list_manager@domain.com To: list-request@list_domain.com Subject: null (doesn't matter, and is ignored) X-Command: list_manager@domain.com password unsubscribe old_user_address@old.com subscribe new_user_addr@new.com showdist ...which does exactly the same thing, uses the password-protection already built in, and keeps one from having to write all that other stuff externally.
