Stopping bounces to the list maintainer

I want to stop bounces from foreign senders from being sent to my list maintainers. I want foreign senders to receive a copy of the accept.txt file and I want their original message to go into the bit bucket, without being sent to the list maintainer. subscribe.txt questions

1) When someone subscribes to one of my lists they get this "header" which appears above the text contained in subscribe.txt: You have added to the subscriber list of: mylist(a)mydomain.com the following mail address: subscriber(a)somedomain.com How can I get rid of this, along with the transcript of the original subscription, so that I can include only a simple url (to an html based subsciption/unsubscription page) and some other basic instructions? I am tryign to figure out how to set my list to only allow subscribed users to post to the list. Is it possible to do this without setting the list as moderated? TIA.

Hi. I want to setup a mailing list that will be administered by one of my clients but i want him to be able to add users just up to a certain predefined number of mailing list users. For instance, i want to allow him to add users to a certain mailing list up to a maximum of 20 users. Of course, i don't want to have to check everyday if he's over the limit. Does Smartlist provide a way to do this ? SmartList version 3.15 released

I'm pleased to announce the release of SmartList version 3.15. This version includes support for the List-* headers (rfc2369), corrects some problems in the support for having a digested and an undigested list tied together, and fixes some other minor problems. Items changed in version 3.14, which was only available as a prerelease, included better handling of bounce messages (including DSNs), a solution to the infamous "@yahoo" problems (incorrect address extractions by multigram), as well as several other issues. For the complete list of changes, please see the HISTORY file items included below. hello... I have some questions about the smartlist... 1. what's a digest list? what is the digest? 2. If I make a moderated list, then I have to forward again every mail to the list, but as the FROM: appears my e-mail and not the sender's. Is there anyway to make the list to browdcast an approved e-mail but appears as send from the original sender? thanks in advanced alexander boukouris

dist file and comment

According to the manual you can add comment after an email address in the dist file, however when i try to do this choplist complains about invalid address: choplist: Skipping invalid address entry: "E.H.Beekman(a)amc.uva.nl Ewald_Beekman" Subject: nogmaals met space i.p.v. tabs Folder: choplist 32 8 64 0 200000 4 dist /usr/lib/sendmail -oem -odb 962 am i doing something wrong?
