The Open Source Phenomenon has spread throughout the world and has
been given growing momentum by the Internet and the World Wide Web.
Open source code is by definition made freely available to the general
public for modification, alteration, and endless distribution. When
code is dedicated as open source, what is the developer giving up? What

open source or sell their services to open source users? The discussion

legal rights and acceptance of legal obligations in open source
transactions.
