Dear all, this is just a quick reminder that this week we have the final "English" contribution to the Pacific Series. The speaker is Prof. Christopher Balme from the University of Mainz. Chris Balme is a New Zealander. He holds one of the very rare chairs of Theatre Studies in this country and is currently working on a DFG-funded research project on Performance in the Pacific. He has published a great deal on theatre, most notably Decolonizing the Stage: Theatrical Syncretism and Post-Colonial Drama published by Oxford in 1999 and his more recent Einführung in die Theaterwissenschaft. Pete Marsden and I would be happy to see some of you at the lecture, which takes place on Thursday at 18.00 in FO5. GVD
