Sorry, gerade gefunden. Dabei meine ich, es waere frueher gelaufen. Habe ich die quotas weggepatcht? Guenter One warning with Solaris 7 - something changed in what optiosn are written into /etc/mnttab by the kernel (it no longer writes "quota" until quota's are turned on), which causes quotacheck and quotaon to no longer be run at boot (by /etc/init.d/MOUNTFSYS, which looks for "quota" in /etc/mnttab to decide whether to turn quota's on!). The solution is to change something to make sure that they get run. Either add your own rc script to do so. Or else hack /etc/init.d/MOUNTFSYS to look in /etc/vfstab for quota or rq, instead of looking in /etc/mnttab for quota. ----oder?----------------------------------------------------------
"rq" should be "quota". your vftab file should read:
/dev/dsk/c1t4d0s2 /dev/rdsk/c1t4d0s2 /u2460 ufs 3 yes quota
So, this man-page is wrong (and it worked with 2.6)? And no-one noticed that problem before? The machine has almost all patches since Dec. 17th 1999 installed...
