Liebe Studierende,

in einer Sondersitzung aller Prüfungsausschussvorsitzenden wurde am gestrigen Donnerstag beschlossen, aufgrund der zu erwartenden Umsetzung der Corona-Schutzverordnung alle Präsenzprüfungen an der RWTH bis zum Ende kommender Woche (d.h. bis zum 21. Februar) abzusagen. Das betrifft sowohl Klausuren in Präsenz als auch mündliche Prüfungen in Präsenz als auch Prüfungen im ZuseLab.

Fernprüfungen (take-home exams, el. Prüfungen von zu Hause) und mündliche Prüfungen von zu Hause können natürlich stattfinden.

Wir werden Sie Anfang kommender Woche, sobald die konkrete Umsetzung des Landes vorliegt, darüber informieren, wie wir mit der letzten Februar- und der ersten Märzwoche verfahren werden.

Die jetzt ausfallenden Präsenzklausuren werden zu Beginn der Vorlesungszeit in Absprache mit den Klausurplaner*innen der Fakultäten und Fachgruppen neu terminiert.

Nach der Corona-Schutzverordnung zulässige Ausnahmen für die Medizin sowie bereits genehmigte Praktika sind von der Absage nicht betroffen.

Dear students,

In a special meeting of all examination board chairpersons, it was decided yesterday, Thursday the 11th, to cancel all in-person exams on the campus of RWTH through the end of next week (i.e., until February 21) due to the expected adjustments to the Corona Protection Ordinance. This applies to in-person written and oral exams as well as exams scheduled to be held in ZuseLab.

Remote exams (take-home exams, online exams taken from home) and oral exams from home can, of course, take place.

We will let you know early next week – once we have the specifics from the state on how the ordinance is to be implemented – how we will proceed with the last week of February and the first week of March.

The in-person written exams that are canceled now will be rescheduled in consultation with the Faculties and departments’ exam planners at the beginning of the next lecture period.

The exceptions allowed under the Corona Protection Ordinance for medicine and previously approved lab courses are not affected by the cancellation.
