Filter ID of this list lost Sender: from header

Hi procmail@lists.rwth-aachen.de A question ideally for list owner: This filter for this list no longer works * ^Sender: procmail-bounces@lists.rwth-aachen.de as that header is missing from last 3 posts. Is that an accident or deliberate ? Should we change to use eg: * ^List-Id: .+procmail.lists.rwth-aachen.de On a header, grep procmail To: procmail@lists.rwth-aachen.de Mail-Followup-To: procmail@lists.rwth-aachen.de List-Id: discussion of the procmail program <procmail.lists.rwth-aachen.de> Archived-At: <https://lists.rwth-aachen.de/hyperkitty/list/procmail@lists.rwth-aachen.de/message/224YXAEII75YJDJPXIST5Y34NIL3UOW7/> List-Archive: <https://lists.rwth-aachen.de/hyperkitty/list/procmail@lists.rwth-aachen.de/> List-Help: <mailto:procmail-request@lists.rwth-aachen.de?subject=help> List-Post: <mailto:procmail@lists.rwth-aachen.de> List-Subscribe: <mailto:procmail-join@lists.rwth-aachen.de> List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:procmail-leave@lists.rwth-aachen.de> Cheers, Julian -- Julian Stacey, Computer Consultant, Systems Engineer, BSD Linux Unix, Munich Brexit Referendum stole 3.7 million votes inc. 700,000 from British in EU. noticed same and altered my recipe to include "List-Id:", but you could also add or use instead "Lis-Post:" or any of the other *unique* headers lines. the key-word being *unique*. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode

You should always filter list messages on List-ID, only resorting to lesser means if you must be on a list without a List-ID. If you are interested, I have a snippet of code that will catch pretty much any list message and sort it based on the headers. -- "An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching." - Mohandas Gandhi
