Hi, Perhaps I should have provided some additional details — I'm using OpenFlipper to view hexahedral meshes (i.e. solid meshes consisting of 'cubes'). For these meshes, there is an option to highlight the irregular edges, that is, edges shared by a different number than 4 hexahedra. By default, valence 3 edges are highlighted in cyan and valence 5 edges are highlighted in magenta. I'd like to be able to assign custom colors to the different valencies. Thanks! Hi,
Of course you can assign the same color to the two vertices of some edge, then you can draw the edge via that color. For your case, I think you would like to assign different colors to vertices, since it is vertex that has different valences, not edges.

Hi,
I wondered whether it is possible to assign custom colors to the different types of irregular edges (e.g. valence 3 and valence 5 edges)?
