Hello, I am writing a plugin in which I would like to create a simple mesh (a cube for example) and display it, by clicking on a push button. Right now, I can create my mesh and save it to a file but I cannot display it. Do you know which function I should call in order to display the mesh? Thank you, Juliette

Object Interaction in OpenFlipper

Hi, I need to implement a plugin that updates a mesh shape according to the positions of some "handle vertices" of the mesh. Specifically, I would like to use the OpenFlipper manipulator to move a vertex V, and update all other vertices of the mesh according to the position of V using a certain algorithm. What is the proper way of implementing this in OpenFlipper? The documentation mentions about "Mouse Interface" (http://openflipper.org/Documentation/latest/a00152.html). But it says that "Mouse Move events are never passed to one of the plugins and is only used for scene navigation inside the viewers". Does this mean I should not use mouse move events to implement the update of vertices? Thanks in advance, Bailin

OpenFlipper - Problem with compiling

Hi! I am trying to compile OpenFlipper with MSVC 2010 Express and QT 4.8.6 I have downloaded sources from http://www.openflipper.org/svnrepo/OpenFlipper/branches/Free I also have downloaded Glew and Glut librarires (in binary mode) and installed them in c:\lib as desribed in OpenFlipper documentation. I have also downloaded QT 4.8.6. for Msvc. I managed to succecsfully run CMake and it created solution file and a lot of project files. I compiled whole solution, it created OpenFlipper.exe but it refuses to start. It needs OpenFlipperPluginLib.dll which was not created because of ACG library was not compiled. So now I am stuck with compiling ACG project. It (the ACG project) complies succsefully but fails at linking. First error message in log looks like that: ... 1> moc_QtWheel.cpp 1> moc_QtManipulatorNode.cpp 1> moc_QtTranslationManipulatorNode.cpp 1> Generating Code... 1> Creating library C:/Mir/Math/2014/OutFlipper/ACG/Debug/ACG.lib and object C:/Mir/Math/2014/OutFlipper/ACG/Debug/ACG.exp 1>AntiAliasing.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol ___glewGetMultisamplefv 1>ScreenQuad.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol ___glewActiveTexture ... The project fails to link with defined GLEW_BUILD or GLEW_STATIC (in project properties) also. What should I check next? Cut STL

batch mode

Hi, I would like to use OpenFlipper in batch mode, without GUI. I have found in documentation that I should call "openflipper -b" and "provide a script". But HOW should I provide the script? Visualize property in a polyhedral mesh

Hello, I followed this tutorial http://www.openflipper.org/media/Documentation/OpenFlipper-1.3/ovm_tutorial… to add properties to edges of a Polyhedral Mesh. The properties are set correctly. I can for example, iterate over all edges and print their property values. However, when I use the Property Visualisation plugin of OpenFlipper, the property I set is shown as zero for all edges. Does someone know what is wrong? Hi,Jan MöbiusThe debug output and stack call information are as follow in the picture( can you see the picture this time, I don't know why the pictures were missing in the maillist last time) I was trying to compile the latest version 19104 in 64bit.The same error occured when I load an obj mesh file to test. There were some minor errors in cmake configure, but just the problem of failing to find relevant paths of some libs. I fixed it by add customed path.
