Ubatuba, Ilhabela, and other pristine beaches and verdant islands along famed Rio-Santos road are only an hour away. Campos do Jordao and other prime mountain resorts on Serra da Mantiqueira range are a similar distance away. As many of you know. I tried to be on the ballot to run for the Board of Governors. In a word it was impossible to be nominated unless the nominating committee did it because of recent bylaw changes.
