The 20th Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks, to be held from 20 to 24 in Buzios - Rio de Janeiro, is opened for submissions of articles, shortcourses and workshops. The Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks (SBRC) is an annual event promoted by the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC) and the National Computer Network Laboratory (LARC). Over the years, the SBRC has become the most important forum for researchers and professionals from public institutions and private corporations in the fields of Computer Networks and Distributed Systems in Brazil. The organization of the SBRC2002 is entrusted to the Núcleo de Computação Eletrônica (NCE) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
