Dear TC6 national delegates and WG chairmen and co-chairmen. I eventually got the position of all eligible people but one. I do not want to delete further the procedure as I am convinced that the silent national delegate is not a candidate for this election. The only candidate is Augusto Casaca and following the rules Augusto has prepared a position statement that you will find as an attachement to this email. It is an rtf file that every one is assumed to be able to read. I decided to organise the election by email and to ensure the regularity and the confidentiality of the votes I will benefit from the full support of Plamen Nedkov the Executive Director of IFIP. Plamen will establish a special Email Account to which you will have to send your vote in a few days. Palmen will check that each vote come from either a national delegate or a WG chairman or co-chairman. For those who are national delegate and WG chairman or co-chairman, their vote will be expressed as national delegate. If they have a co-chair for the WG, this co-chair will be able to vote for the WG with a full vote. If the none of the two co-chairs is a national delegate, each co-chair will expressed his vote with a weight of 0.5. After checking the origin of the votes, Palmen will established the results of the votes and mailed them to TC6 distribution list.
