During the meeting, recent NOSS awardees will share their successful projects, and attendees will interact with these investigators formally and socially. In addition, attendees will learn about the NOSS focus area's direction and the open research challenges in this focus area, and thus, strengthen their proposals. The format of the meeting is organized around communicating pioneering research, growing the community in this focus area, and fostering potential collaborations.
