Dear all, I regret that I have to inform you that Giancarlo Prati (TC6 delegate from Italy) has resigned. See attached letter. I would like to thank Giancarlo for his cntributions in his (all too short) presence in TC6 as Italian delegate. Giancalro proposed a name of a possible successor. I hereby ask Dr. Arrigo Frisiani (who gets a copy of the resignment letter) to initiate a corresponding action as soon as possible. It is pobvious that the proposed name is only a recommendation - even it appears to be very suitable at least from a gender perspective - and the Italian member society is fully free to make a nomination. The ctive participation from Italy is of extreme importance to IFIP TC6 since a lot of events have been held in this country and others are scheduled for the near or medium term future.
