Workshop on Crisis Management

Dear all, it is planned (for the moment being without IFIP TC6 but we might add TC6 of course) to organise a workshop on "Challenges in Information Infrastructures for Crisis Management" (Feb. 8 - 11 in Schloss Dagstuhl, Germany). See the enclosure for an outline of its contents. It is obvious that the topic has to do with process management, geographical information systems, data mining, security,... but also with communication systems such as sensor networks, wireless networks, ad hoc networks, network management etc. (WG 6.5, 6.7 and 6.9 might be particularly involved). My question: Do you know experts who might be interested (including yourself, of course)? Could you provide names (incl. email addresses) who should be invited to attend? Do you think that an active involvement of TC6 should be seeked? Best wishes Otto

Call for work in Progress Contributions

Dear colleague, I have the pleasure to inform you that the call for papers for the "First European Workshop on Wireless Sensor Networks has been very successfull. We have obateined 75 Submissions. We have decided to accepts only 24 of theses submissions, in order to assure the high quality and also in order to reserve some time slots for actual work in progress sessions.
