Der Raum war nicht verschlossen und jeder konnte sich leicht Zugang verschaffen. Wie hier allen bekannt sein sollte, befinden sich in diesem Raum eine Vielzahl Kameras: Aufgrund von Stabilitätstests nehmen einige von diesen regelmäßig Bilder auf und speichern diese ab. Wir geben der Person die Gelegenheit, das Notebook "anonym" zurückzugeben: Das Notebook ist dazu bis nächsten Donnerstag im E-Labor oder PC-Pool zu platzieren. Sofern das Notebook seinen Weg zum Besitzer zurückfindet, werden wir die Aufnahmen löschen und von weiteren Maßnahmen absehen. Hiermit möchten wir den Dieb nochmals auf die Konsequenzen hinweisen, wenn er identifiziert wird. Bitte achtet auf eure Wertgegenstände und erstellt regelmäßig Backups eurer Daten. Grüße Michael ########################################################################### Dear all, this Wednesday afternoon there has been a theft of a MacBook from a student's closed backpack in the optics lab. Unfortunately this room was not locked, and anyone could gain access easily. As most of you should know, there are lots of cameras in there: because of long-term stability tests, several of these are recording and saving images all the time. We will give the person the chance to return the notebook 'anonymously': Therefore, until next Thursday, the notebook is to be deposited in the E-Lab or PC-Pool. In case the notebook finds the way back to his owner, we will erase the recordings and take no measures. Here, we want to remind the thief of the consequences which result from being caught.
