Dear International Researcher,
Starting early in October 2011, the International Office, in collaboration with the RWTH Language Center, will offer a German language course for beginners which is mainly targeted at the accompanying (female) partners of visiting researchers and doctoral students. The course, for which a childcare service will be provided, is aimed at this female group as experience has shown that partners of visiting researchers typically lack the opportunities and organisational support quickly to find their way in their new city and at the university.
Kindly find further information given below and if your spouse is interested in participating please let me know, then I will be sending you the registration form, immediately.
Yours sincerely,
Andrea Porten
