Call for Faculty Positions (in Software Engineering) Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), Chile Escuela de Ingeniería Informática We are seeking to fill one tenure-track faculty position at the Escuela de Ingeniería Informática at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), Valparaíso, Chile. Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Science (or a related field) or have defended their doctoral thesis by October 1st, 2025. Preferred research areas include, but are not limited to: • Software Requirements Engineering • Testing and Quality Assurance • Agile Methodologies • Databases • Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems • Cybersecurity • Blockchain Technologies • Virtual/Augmented Reality We seek dynamic colleagues who will make positive contributions to the Department's teaching, research, and service efforts. Candidates with published articles in ISI WoS-indexed journals are highly preferred.
