Dear Sergio, Thank you for your interest in the COMPASS toolset. To license the use of COMPASS outside the ESA member states, a technology transfer has to be initiated. The first step of this process is an evaluation of the license request by the holders of the intellectual property within the COMPASS consortium, that is, the RWTH and FBK. Afterwards, a request has to be submitted to the ESA Technology Transfer Board, which has to authorise the request. Upon successful authorisation, we can deliver you the COMPASS toolset. If you are interested, I propose we hold a short phone call to discuss possible licensing terms. Viet Yen On 22 mrt. 2013, at 17:48, Sérgio Itami <sergio.itami@inpe.br> wrote:
Dear Sirs,
I work at INPE (National Institute For Space Research) in Brazil.
I am a doctoral student and my research topic is on Formal Methods applicable to embedded software for satellites.
I would like to know in detail the COMPASS toolset specifically on the SLIM modeling language.
Is it possible to provide me a license to use the COMPASS toolset to complete may research?
Regards,
