Dear all, We are pleased to announce the next speaker for the Charlemagne Distinguished Lecture Series: Alan Edelman (homepage <https://math.mit.edu/~edelman/>), Professor of Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and AI Laboratories at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Julia Lab Research Group Leader, and co-creator of the Julia programming language. The lecture will take place on January 25, 2024 at 3 pm in Ford-Saal (SuperC). Depending on his schedule, we will try to arrange individual meetings on request.
