I am currently offering two Master thesis topics. Both involve the study of computational models with application in coronary arteries with stents. Here is a brief overview:
“Model reduction based on isogeometric analysis of cardiovascular drug-eluting stents”: more methodology oriented, testing an immersed boundary method combined with IGA-based model reduction.
“Continuum and agent-based models of in-stent restenosis”: more application oriented, comparing the results of finite element method and stochastic processes. Possibility of staying abroad (Italy) for part of the thesis.
You can find more details in the attached PDFs. If you are interested in one of the two topics (or both), you can contact me at ranno@cats.rwth-aachen.de.
Best,
Anna
