BABYLON.PL

The present day Iraq. Worn out by war, bombing, booby - traps, ambushes.

Human tragedies on both sides of barricades.

The number of American soldiers killed has just hit 700. The number of Iraqi people killed since the beginning of the war – unknown.

Since it is still growing.

Babilon.PL was created by a group of Polish journalists who managed to reach places no others have ever been  allowed to access. Their efforts added up to a truly shocking, feature length documentary telling a story of Polish and American soldiers quartering in and around Camp Babylon, the Polish military zone.

Enter the world where no one is safe anymore. Where no one knows which direction this war is going.

MY BIG POLISH WEDDING (“Wesele”)

She was beautiful and young. He loved her dearly. The wedding cake was as sweet as ever and the wedding gift made the guests gape in jealousy.

Everything was as planned which didn't come as a surprise since HE was the man here. The loving father of the bride, the future beloved father-in-law. And the plan was simple: the wedding of HIS daughter was to be remembered.

Or so it seemed as in the evening it turned out that she wasn't that innocent, he wasn’t that much in love and the father didn't pay for everything.

Black comedy about love and money. Or rather the love for money....

That's how this exciting journey begins.

At the end of the story, the Earth is saved from the eternal winter, Mary finds her dream home, bad guys get what they really deserve and the Dwarves become richer for the experiences they never expected to find on Earth......
