will take place Saturday, December 3, in Berlin
- European Film Academy Awards nominees revealed

Jameson People's Choice Awards, vote open on EFA website.
- EFA short list
of 46 features from Europe has been announced
- Maurice Jarre tribute to be
given during EFA in Berlin
- Sir Sean Connery will receive a life-time EFA
award in Berlin

THE SECOND DUBAI FILM FESTIVAL December 11 - 17, 2005
The
second Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) will be hosted in Dubai,
United Arab Emirates
by Dubai Media City, the media free zone created by the
Government of Dubai in 2001.
The festival seeks to celebrate true excellence
in Arab cinema while screening films
which reflect Dubai’s cosmopolitan and
multi-cultural character. The festival will showcase
approximately 85
films.

The Federation of Commercial Audiovisual Libraries
is a not for profit trade organization
representing footage archives,
researchers, consultants and ancillary facilities serving
the footage
industry worldwide. The FOCAL International Awards is an annual event
to
celebrate the use of footage archive images in the creative media.
