Sid Sheinberg’s The Bubble Factory has entered into an agreement with George Shamieh’s American Cinema International to license the international rights to the film “Bad Girls from Valley High”.  The film is based on the best selling book “A Fate Totally Worse Than Death” written by the well-known author of Children’s and Young Teen books, Paul Fleischman.    The film, which is being distributed in North America by Universal, was made for 8 million dollars and will screen for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival.  Starring:

“Bad Girls from Valley High” – A story of three beautiful teenage girls, Danielle, Tiffany, and Brook, who do what it takes to get what they want.  Danielle, the leader of the group, sets her sights on the Captain of the football team, Drew, and contrives to eliminate the only thing that stands in her way—his girlfriend.  Just when Danielle is about to make her move on Drew, a beautiful new student from Transylvania, Romania arrives at their school.  When the three girls mysteriously start aging rapidly, they conclude that the new girl is the ghost of Drew’s dead girlfriend who has returned to get revenge by putting a curse on them.   The only way to get their youth back is to stop the curse.  Will Danielle, Tiffany and Brook kill the ghost in time to get their youth back before Danielle’s 18^th birthday?

Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Synopsis:

Based on a true story, the film follows the hardship a women (Maria) faces in raising seven children with an abusive husband.  The husband, who is unemployed, leaves Maria to live with his parents after being jailed for destroying the local tavern.  When the food runs out, Maria turns to the government and the Church for assistance, but she is told her only option is to sell her babies.  Maria fights to keep her family together and bravely resorts to prostitution in order to feed her children.  The film poignantly depicts Maria's courage and determination in struggling against overwhelming adversity.

“OUT OF CONTROL” – Pre-production – ACTION DISASTER - FROM THE PRODUCER OF “THE CLOWN”

Synopsis:

A BMW rushes toward the airport.  Inside the car is Pete and Sally, an unhappily married young couple.  With them in the back of the car is their nine-month-old son, Phil and Sally’s best friend Nick, who’s over on a visit from the States. 

As they speed down the motorway, Sally reveals to Pete that she is going to leave him for Nick and move to the States, taking Phil with her.  Her husband is shocked.  A heated argument ensues.  Pete becomes more and more enraged.  He increases the speed of the car until he’s driving like a madman.

Sally and Nick get more and more terrified, begging him to slow down.  But Pete ignores them and pushes the car to the limit, attracting the attention of the police.  Finally he comes to his senses and tries to slow down the car, but nothing happens. Something in the engine has broken – and now the speeding car cannot be stopped.  From this moment on, chaos ensues.

The police realize that the car is out of control.  By now, the news of the unstoppable car has spread and TV helicopters have started to show up.  The police desperately try to clear a path in front of the car as it speeds towards a busy city center. The police chief has to make a tough decision:  What is worse:  The collateral death of four people?  Or a disaster is a whole city.
