1) #RWTHhilft
The corona crisis is also a financial burden, especially for students. Together with proRWTH,
RWTHextern and the university itself, the action #RWTHhilft is to be launched with
scholarships of up to 600€. How it all works:
The AStA offers advice on the so-called social loans, which are given to national and
international students. This interest-free loan can be granted in cases in which students get
into financial difficulties through no fault of their own. Your studies should not be endangered
by financial crises, such as those currently triggered by Corona.
As a student you apply for your loan by sending the completed application to
soziales(a)asta.rwth-aachen.de . The application form and further information on the loans,

2) BeBuddy Podcast “new countries – new people” - produced by the RWTH Student Health Management

3) City of Aachen congratulates the RWTH Aachen for its 150th anniversary
At the intersections at the Audimax and Ponttor, first-semester robots greet you as so called
“Ampelmännchen”🚦🤖 in the traffic lights - a gift from the city of Aachen for the 150th
anniversary of the RWTH Aachen University.
4) INTENSIVE ONLINE GERMAN COURSES for enrolled RWTH Students
Registration period: 31.07. - 09.08.2020 Course period: 17.08. - 04.09.2020 Course time: 10:30 - 14:00 h
Course levels: A1.1, A2.1, A2.2
Registration: Via your user account www.sz.rwth-aachen.de
No placement tests are offered before the end of the registration period.
Therefore, only persons who already have an appropriate placement in their user accounts can register for the A2.1 and A2.2 course. The courses will be held online via „Zoom“.
