*Utsav 2019*
Utsav- das indische Kulturfest is the biggest and the grandest event that AISA organises every year. From dance, music, drama, DJ night to dinner, AISA has got it all covered. Invited guests include representatives of Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, Deutsch-Indische Gesellschaft e.V., International Academy of RWTH Aachen university and a few others. The event is 5-6 hours long and snacks are served in between. Around 500 people registered themselves to come and watch the show which took place, this year, at Aula 1 - Hauptgebäude RWTH Aachen on 10th November, 2019. *AISA's Bollybeats*
AISA organised Bollybeats on 29th of September, 2019 for the new students coming to Aachen! In this year’s Freshers' edition, we broke the dance floor at one of the best disco locations- Apollo. Besides, with the party games and special Fresher prices, it was bound to be an unforgettable evening as we let it loose over some of the fastest and grooviest 'desi' beats ever.
*Aachen entdeckt Indien*
“Unity in diversity”- India is a land that takes great pride in its diversity. From 'Puranpoli' in the west to 'Rasogulla' in the east, from Bhangra in the north to Bharatanatyam in the south, these wonderful things are only limited to imagination and photographs for some people. Deutsch-Indische Gesellschaft e.V. (DIG), in association with AISA and Katholische Hochschulgemeinde (KHG), brought to you Aachen Entdeckt Indien on 28.09.2019. With AEI, you get an opportunity to experience India without having to fly to India.
*Fresher's City Tour*
AISA welcomed the new students on 23.09.2019 by organizing a walking city tour where the students were provided with information on where to buy indian spices, popular food outlets and the history of Aachen, followed by a chill-out and orientation session in Humboldt Haus. Chill-out is our way of breaking the ice with one another. The event involved a quick course-guidance session with seniors. A lot of interactive and fun games along with drinks and snacks were prepared to make the event more interesting.
