*Republic Day celebration*
AISA entered the new year with the celebration of 70th Republic day of India on
the 26th January. The chilly winter morning did not affect the spirit of
celebration. Almost 80 people witnessed the flag hoisting ceremony and gave
their vocals to appraise the strength of our unity. 'Sargam' of patriotic
songs with Indian tea energized the morning and created a little ambience
of India.

*Yukthi Dance Workshops*
The Indian dance fraternity over the years has developed its own signature
style of dance which consist of diverse avatars, but within this diversity,
there is a unity in its origin. To expose people of Aachen with versatility
of Indian dance forms, AISA organizes ‘Yukthi dance workshops’ in every
Summer semester. Here we bring to you the entertainment of Bollywood, the
energy of Bhangra, expressions of South folk, the grace of Garba, the
discipline, dedication and beauty of classical dances, and many other
forms. We believe “Dance is a way to make music visual”.
