*Welcome to Freshers*
This year again, we welcome hundreds of new students from India and across
the world to Aachen. We hope our welcome guide to Aachen has been useful
and keep working closely with both the University and the Stadt Aachen
authorities in our attempts to enable a smooth transition for you. Our
HomeBuddy program is working actively to try and help with initial
accommodation for international students in Aachen as much as possible. Do
reach out to us if you think we can be of any help, or if you'd like to say
Hi :) Have a great start in Aix la Chapelle!

*Yukthi Dance Workshops*
Like last year, the Yukthi Dance workshops continued to teach basics to
everyone in exotic forms like Bamboo Dance, Finnish Folk Dance, Garba, and
Bhangra.

*Indo German Symposium 2018*
On 14th of November, AISA in association with the Consulate General of
India in Frankfurt and the RWTH Aachen University will organize the
Indo-German Symposium 2018, which brings together academicians, diplomats,
and industrialists in a unique dialogue on this year's theme: Sustainable

*Workshop „Fit for Asia. Intercultural training for RWTH students - focus
India or China.“ - October 24, 2018, 11am - 6pm and **October, 25, 2018,
9am - 4pm - English*
Organised by the *RWTH International Office*, Interested students who go
abroad to India or who are particularly interested in this country may
learn more about the culture in this workshop. Two trainers from Berlin who
are experts in these fields will come to Aachen in October to give this
training.

after registration. Please also specify the country you want to put the

Tanz und Musik aus Rajasthan Khatu Sapera Dance Company - Die
*Deutsche-Indische
Gesellschaft Aachen* laedt wieder ein zu einem große Indischen Abend. Zu
Gast im Rahmen einer zweiwoechigen Deutschland-Tournee ist die hoch
geruehmte Tanz- und Musikgruppe um Khatu Sapera herum, die es geschafft
hat, die Kalbaliya Tanzform weltweit bekannt zu machen.
